We have a new opportunity for a Director of Consulting Services (DCS) located in Melbourne. This leadership role is empowered to sell and deliver consulting services into targeted telco, banking and utility clients through themselves and their team of CGI Consulting members.

To be successful, the DCS will build their business by leading a team to deliver superior client service and executing challenging engagements, achieving client satisfaction, member satisfaction and shareholder satisfaction targets.
Additionally, the DCS will build and grow the business through superior client service and execution of challenging engagements. This position will be responsible for leading and managing the team to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

The DCS Is Accountable For

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with their client base
• Business development with assigned and new clients
• Service delivery
• Leadership and member management including buy-in and communication, motivation and inspiration of the local team.
• Operations management

To be considered for this role candidates should have sound industry expertise including an in depth understanding and connection base within the Telecommunications and/or Financial Services sectors and demonstrable experience in a leadership role in an IT services or similar organisation.

Required Skills And Experience

• 12+ years of relevant industry experience
• Highly developed consulting ability - understanding the client environment, stakeholder management, organizational change management, structured problem solving, collecting and analyzing data, writing, facilitating, presenting
• Business Development acumen – proven experience in sales and delivery, bid/proposal management, relationship building, closing
• Excellent Project Management skills - initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling
• Leadership and People Management
• Strategy and Business Management
• Driven and consistent performance to meet targets/quota
