The Investor Relations team are the key liaison point for the Institutional and Retail funds management community both domestically and offshore as well as a broader audience including research analysts and brokers. Due to an internal promotion ANZ is recruiting for a Senior Manager Investor Relations reporting to the Group General Manager Investor Relations.

In this role you will contribute to the development of ANZ's relationship with the Financial Markets through supporting the preparation of all investor materials including those used for public disclosures, attending meetings with various stakeholders both internal and external, supporting the development of corporate messages on a variety of topics including financial statements, operational updates and areas of interest within the business.

The Senior Manager Investor Relations will be a member of the Investor Relations team who sit within the Group Finance function reporting up to the CFO. The successful candidate will be expected to accompany ANZ senior management to meetings with a variety of stakeholders and so strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to relate to a cross section of people while exercising a level of maturity and discretion will be critical. Financial literacy is important along with an ability to communicate complex issues clearly.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
The ability to analyse financials and other data and to consider key concepts which the Group need to communicate clearly and concisely through presentation materials
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
An understanding of the Australian and or Asia Pacific financial services or banking sectors would be highly regarded. Experience in a similar role in a another sector would also be considered)
Strong relationship skills are essential; able to work collaboratively within the team and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Proven ability to work to tight deadlines without supervision
