Product Operations Manager - SalesTech - Google - Sydney


Job description
The SalesTech team is a solution-generating force that helps our sales teams and advertisers. These solutions need to be scalable to support millions of customers worldwide. In addition to troubleshooting on the customer side, we work with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better tools and services to improve our products based on the evolving needs of our users. As a cross-functional and global team, it's our job to help keep the lights on and the ads fresh.

Responsibilities
Be responsible for driving commercialization support activities across a portfolio of Google’s advertiser-facing products.
Drive commercialization support activities across a portfolio of products supported by SalesTech (including release and readiness, escalations management and triage, product feedback, feature prioritization, bug fixes, solutions support.)
Analyze escalations data to identify improvement opportunities in Performance products and build the supporting business case for the Global Performance Solutions team, Product Management, and Engineering.
Partner with SalesTech teams and Product Owners to leverage their expertise, relationships, and technical product insights to improve products, escalation paths and processes.
Develop effective partnerships with Global Performance Solutions Leads, PM, Eng stakeholders to provide commercialization support and improve serviceability, usability of advertiser-facing products.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in product commercialization support and or second level technical escalations support.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in internet technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, Flash, SQL databases and scripting languages such as PHP, Python.
Expert knowledge of search ads products. Experience with search advertising market or online ad sales.
Proven ability to interface with PM/ENG teams and partner closely with other cross-functional stakeholders
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Comfort with a fast-paced and fast-changing environment.
Ability to deal with multiple conflicting priorities and stakeholder issues, while driving towards pragmatic decisions/actions. Proven track record of experience in managing complex processes.
Strong communication skills, and ability to influence people to contribute to the project.
