An exciting senior leadership opportunity exists for a seasoned professional to join our team in the role of General Manager Finance. Based at our Rhodes Head office and reporting to the Managing Director, this role will direct and control the financial activities of the organisation and represent the Finance function as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing best practice financial and management reporting around key areas including compliance with statutory reporting requirements, Board reporting, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes and CAPEX planning;
Leading business risk management activities including audit liaison, credit, interest rate and FX risk management;
Establishing and maintaining appropriate policies and procedures to manage capital and funding requirements;
Actively partnering with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team in the development and execution of business strategy;
Providing leadership and strategic direction to the Finance and IT teams; and
Monitoring and reporting progress against strategic objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Suitable Accountancy qualifications with proven experience operating at a senior level;
Strong commodity risk management experience;
Superior people and team management skills with the ability to lead your team by providing direction, motivation, training and development;
Extensive experience in the finance field, preferably within a food processing or manufacturing organisation;
Persuasive and confident communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas and influence decision making processes; and
A solid track record of achievement in contributing to the development of organisational strategies to drive growth and lead continuous improvement processes.
