Come join Intuit as a Training Manager in Australia. We are looking for a commercially skilled individual to take on this role and join our global sales and marketing team. The individual will be responsible for defining and executing high quality training programs and strategies to external or internal clients on basic and core aspects of Quick Books Online (QBO) system functionality. The Training Manager will provide training at customer sites across Australia to ensure Accountants and Bookkeepers are trained and certified on QBO as well as ensuring that training material is kept up-to-date and relevant for the Australian market. The individual may also assist in a myriad of implementation tasks considered moderately difficult such as project planning and gap analysis.


Responsibilities:


Applies significant knowledge of company, products, services and industry best practices while serving as a consultant to the customer.
Provides accurate, detailed status reports.
Serves as a customer advocate while simultaneously representing the company to effectively address, mediate and escalate issues that are impacting the customers system implementation.
May assess customer needs and suggest/promote/sell alternative or additional products or services.
Significant travel to customer sites is a requirement of this position
External and internal training delivery. May prepare training materials and/or modifications to existing training materials to incorporate client requirements
Escalated implementation issues according to approved processes to supportability/development
Accurate, timely completion of administrative tasks and billing reports for own work projects
Delivery of customer experience at or above customer and shareholder expectations.
May provide written contributions to internal and external knowledge base.
Analysis of customer business needs and assistance in developing specifications for custom work
May provide input on relevant product and process improvement via prescribed business unit processes
May provide customized reports/specifications for clients.
Necessary documentation for issues that get handed off to support or development


Qualifications:


7-10 years business experience
4+ years experience in a training capacity, sales training capacity in like industry, preferred
Demonstrated track record of high achievement
Training Certification in an industry-recognized curriculum or equivalent development, preferred
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Very effective in 1:1 coaching and classroom facilitation
Strong knowledge of online financial software industry, market, and customers, preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence client groups and peers
Knowledge of regulations, standards affecting financial products and selling practices
Excellent computer skills; advanced application in PowerPoint
