As Director, Business Consulting at Sapient Global Markets you will play a leadership role in helping our clients to drive innovative strategies to improve business performance and manage risk. You will be a primary interface for our clients, structuring and planning engagements, developing relationships, and managing delivery teams. Typical engagements include roadmap planning, competitive edge analysis, operational process improvement, vendor selection and change management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Structure and price complex client engagements and monitor financial performance.
Manage large programs of work in accordance with projected timelines, budgets and quality standards.
Lead change management and/or advisory services engagements.
Lead customer/vendor analysis, and client interviews and workshops.
Develop and present solutions and recommendations.
Lead financial analysis and business case development.
Guide, mentor and grow business consultants.
Lead business development activities and manage senior client relationships.
Drive growth within the practice via thought leadership, mentoring & hiring of consultants and development of new conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches.



REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree; MBA or MS degree in related field preferred.
Very deep relevant work experience in a consulting firm or similar client-facing role.
Very deep experience with trading and risk management technologies, operations and processes.
Profound practical industry expertise in investment banking, capital markets or energy trading.
Proven track record of managing and growing complex client relationships.
Strong problem identification skills and creativity to develop new, innovative solutions.
Very deep experience leading process improvement, comparative analysis and change management projects using a variety of formalized tools and methodologies and creating new tools and methodologies where gaps exist.
Strong understanding of program management and leading technology or business re-engineering projects
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong team leadership skills and experience of mentoring and growing people.
Very deep experience planning multiple large projects, managing time, resources, priorities and goal achievement.
Openness to travel and work at client offices.
